New Commission Work
To commission a portrait, please contact the artist directly: barbara@orzart.com
- Overseas clients are welcome.
- The artist, Barbara E Lewis, prefers to meet both client and subject, however this is sometimes not possible so is not strictly essential.
- A set of good quality photographs to work from is preferred, however the artist is able to work with just about any reference material provided***
- Prices are determined by size, medium and subject matter. Contact the artist for price guidelines.
- The artist works mainly in oil on canvas and watercolours on paper.
- As each portrait is a carefully crafted piece, the artist does not take on large amounts of work during any given year. As a result there may be a waiting list.
- Please do not leave the commissioning of a portrait to the very last minute if a work is intended as a gift. Allow AT LEAST six months completion time before the work is needed.
- Only the finest quality art materials are used

The work of professional photographers is subject to copyright and WILL NOTbe accepted as reference material UNLESS permission has been obtained, IN WRITING, from the photographer and any revelent fees have been paid for the use of the said work.
